Ms. Jones joined VSI as a Biomechanical Engineer in 2007 with a background in clinical sports medicine, specializing in on the field management of athletic injuries and rehabilitation. Following completion of her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sports Medicine/ Athletic Training from Metropolitan State College of Denver, Ms. Jones spent 5 years working in athletic training at NCAA Division II colleges in the Denver Metro Area. She completed her Masters of Science (M.S.) in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) in 2006, with Mechanical Specialty and an applied biomechanics thesis topic (Development of a Soft Tissue Analog for use in Cadaver ACL Brace Testing). Ms. Jones has also worked in orthopedic research involving: spinal surgery and implants, clinical and laboratory testing of ACL brace interaction and effectiveness, and clinical outcomes for pediatric oncology.
