Mr. Michener joined VSI in 2007. His prior experience includes working from 2001-2007 for Sturman Industries, where Mr. Michener performed myriad engineering tasks on next generation engine technologies including: concept generation, design, modeling, FEA, magnetic analysis, system simulation, GD&T, print generation, assembly, metrology, system testing , system refinement, system validation, and installation at customer sites. Mr. Michener received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering, with a Mechanical Emphasis, from Colorado School of Mines (CSM), and his Master of Science (M.S.) in Automotive Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg, Sweden. Mr. Michener is a current member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), EIT certified, and is scheduled to take the Professional Engineer (PE) exam in 2008.
