Vector Scientific (7-16-07) - Dainty Recertified as Tribometrist
 |
|
Dr. David Dainty has been recertified as a tribometrist using the English XL variable incidence tribometer following the successful completion of a certification course and examination. The English XL is one of only two tribometers that have a standard attached to them through ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and has been accepted as the instrument for testing for slip resistance on wet surfaces. Dr. Dainty has testified in a number of slip and fall cases and this recertification validates his continued expertise in the area of slip analysis, with respect to falls on slippery surfaces. Dr. Dainty welcomes cases from both plaintiff and defense clients as he applies the science of tribometry as well as gait analysis and injury biomechanics to the understanding of slip and fall cases. |
