Accountant
Ms. Walz graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Arizona University in 2001. In addition, she has completed several advanced courses including Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Income Tax Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, and Auditing.
Jessica worked with accounting firms, health care firms, and manufacturing firms in the Phoenix area before to moving to Denver in 2007. Since then she has applied her accounting skills to assist a dental group and a consulting firm managing month end processing, tax reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
Jessica joined VSI in the summer of 2011 and handles many of the accounting related duties including billing/invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting bookkeeping.
Personal
Jessica loves to spend time with her husband and their two children camping and fishing. They also enjoy off-roading in the Colorado mountain trails. Jessica has a passion and talent for making custom decorative cakes and cupcakes for family and friends for special occasions. She is also actively involved in her children's PSTA (Parent Student Teacher Association) currently serving as Vice President and is a member of the local MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers).
