VSI is committed to providing high quality service through the use of the most advanced technology available. VSI's computer simulation technologies offer solutions for highly challenging cases where more sophisticated crash analyses are required.

Vehicle Accident Reconstruction and Simulation - PC-Crash'
PC Crash' is a vehicle dynamic and collision simulation tool that enables the accurate analysis of a wide variety of motor vehicle collisions and other incidents. This computer software program allows for the analysis to be viewed as 3D-animations and also produces detailed reports, tables and graphs.

PC-Crash' is one of the computer software programs utilized by the engineers at VSI to simulate vehicle dynamics and collision scenarios to assist with vehicle accident reconstructions. PC-Crash' was specifically developed and accepted in the scientific community as a validated tool for many accident reconstruction applications. This program permits custom input of vehicle specifications and performance characteristics as well as detailed scene data to assess case-specific three-dimensional dynamics.

Injury Biomechanics and Occupant Simulation - MADYMO'
MADYMO (MAthematical DYnamic MOdeling) is the worldwide standard for analyzing vehicle occupant safety. Using MADYMO', VSI engineers can assess injury risk by quantifying diverse loading conditions to the body through the use of validated crash test dummies and human models. MADYMO' has been relied upon by the automotive, aviation, and government industries, as well as academic institutions, for conducting injury biomechanics research. VSI's highly qualified staff has the training and experience to perform such analyses and to interpret the results in an applied, scientific manner.

LS-DYNA is an advanced general-purpose multi-physics simulation software package that is widely used by the automobile, aerospace, construction, military, manufacturing, and bioengineering industries. VSI uses LS-DYNA to study complex problems from accurate prediction of vehicle deformation to stresses and strains in biological tissue to predict injury.
